Hey. It's Courtney & Sanchiahna! We went on a very exciting trip to Canada this year. Did you know that Canada is divided into 10 provinces? It is also located in the Arctic Circle although the weather there is hot, cold, and humid all together. All of that information is great. However, we wanted to learn more about their food choices so we went to talk to some of the locals about it.

For breakfast, they eat anything they want to eat, mainly foods such as portabello and Canadian Bacon on French Bread. They eat hot dogs, hamburgers, or pork chops for lunch. And they eat dear meat for dinner.

Another typical meal in Canada consists of vegetables and beans, which is nothing like a typical meal in the United States. However, there is one famous food which originated in Canada that we eat here in the U.S. and it's called the chicken wrap.

A traditional food dish popular throughout Canada is called Poutine. It is a mix of french fried potatoes, cheese curds, and chicken gravy. Other traditional food dishes are roast turkey and blueberry apricot.

Well, thats enough food! Here's another interesting fact about Canada: The Canadian motto, A Mari Usque ad Mare, means "From sea to sea."
